Refund Policy
Eligibility, timeframes, and process for refunds and cancellations of Web Maple Core consulting engagements.

This policy applies to consulting engagements with Web Maple Core (assessments, query performance reviews, database refactoring days, and follow-up advisory blocks). It does not cover physical products, software licenses, or subscription platforms — we do not sell those.

Timeframe to request a refund
Submit refund requests within 14 days of the billing event or cancellation notice, whichever is relevant. Requests after that window are reviewed case by case.
Full vs partial refunds
Full refunds apply when we have not begun substantive work and cancellation meets the notice periods above. Partial refunds subtract time already spent preparing plans, reviewing dumps, or pairing, calculated at the engagement’s day rate or a pro-rata share of a fixed fee.
Non-refundable items
- Third-party costs you approved in writing (for example specialized lab environments)
- Completed follow-up advisory hour blocks once the sessions have occurred
- Time spent waiting on agreed cutover bridges when your team postpones with less than 24 hours’ notice after we have already staffed the window
Process
Email info@webmaplecore.click with “Refund request” in the subject, your invoice number, and the reason. We confirm receipt within two business days and state the proposed amount.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days after approval. Bank processing times may add a few days.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a reserved day once without penalty if you give at least three business days’ notice. Further reschedules may be billed as cancellations. We may reschedule for illness or force majeure and will offer the next available dates.
Deposits
When a deposit is required to reserve a multi-week refactoring slot, it is applied to the final invoice. If you cancel outside the notice window, the deposit may be retained up to the amounts described in the eligibility table.
No-shows
If your team does not attend a scheduled pairing session without notice, that session is billable.
Work already started
Once artifact review or drafting of migration steps has begun, fees reflect work performed. You remain entitled to receive work product created up to the cancellation date.
Exceptions
Consumer cooling-off rights under Taiwan law apply only where you qualify as a consumer under those statutes. Business-to-business engagements follow this policy and the statement of work. Nothing here limits non-waivable statutory rights.
